Commentary Duo's Gundam, Deathscythe, was highly important to him, he even went to such lengths as talking to his mecha from time to time. Deathscythe is unique in that it is equipped with hyper jammers, allowing it to go about undetected until the moment it strikes.



It wields a powerful Beam Scythe which is capable of cutting enemy craft in half. When the scythe misses it's target, which is rare, Duo also has the Vulcan to back him up. Duo's devotion to Deathscythe was blatantly apparent in Episode 20 when Duo witnessed the destruction of his Gundam, and dispelled a pained shout. Deathscythe was constructed by Professor G, and was destroyed once in Gundam Wing.

Commentary Deathscythe Hell, the upgrade to Deathscythe, was built after the destruction of the first model. The five scientists remade Duo's Gundam along with Wufei's. After escaping the Lunar Base, Duo's Gundam was only nearly finished, and he had to make the final additions himself.



When Deathscythe requires repairs Duo usually enlists the help of Howard and the Sweeepers, while also contributing alot of effort himself. In addition to being adorned with dark wings, the Deathscythe Hell also possessed a double beam scythe, and of course, the Vulcan.

Commentary The final development of Deathscythe, most likely designed by Duo after the War and used during the Eve War. Deathscythe Hell Custom is mostly adorned in black and grey.



Duo held a strong bond with his Gundam, he was greatly attached to it. But in the end, he agreed to destroy it after the Eve War, knowing that a weapon of destruction would not suit peaceful times. Personally, this was my favorite of the three, as it was painted in darker colors and the most streamlined.
